Digital Photography Courses

Course Dates | Course Content | Special Discounts | About the Trainer | Guarantee

Do you know how to use your digital
camera properly?

If you answered ‘no’ you’re not alone. Instruction books can be very confusing!
I can help you!

In just a single day or weekend I can teach you how to use the most important controls on your camera, give you a good basic knowledge of photographic principles and help you significantly improve your photography.

Too good to be true?  Not really.  I’m not saying I can teach you everything there is to know about photography in a couple of days (or a lifetime) but I can help you grasp the fundamentals and avoid common mistakes that may be stopping you from getting the results you want. Please check out our upcoming courses or call me on (02) 4998 1526 to see how I can help you.

Can’t see a suitable course or dates don’t suit you? I also provide private tuition at a reasonable rate and, for groups of three or more, can run a course especially for you at a date to suit.

Half day, full day or whole weekend….you choose. The weekend course is designed for people of varying skill levels from beginners to advanced amateurs. Comprising four modules that may be taken individually or as a whole depending on the experience and requirements of participants, numbers are limited to only eight students to ensure individual attention.

Whilst those with film cameras will find the course useful, the accent is geared towards those who already have or intend to change to a digital camera.

Hi John

I have just had 2 of the best days of my life.  At first I was sitting there thinking what am I doing? I have owned my camera only hours and have no idea how to use it or where any functions are located not to mention my lack of knowledge in the photography field.  Two days later I can understand and operate my camera manually with regard to aperture, shutter speed, ISO and white balance.  I now have strong direction in taking portraits, landscapes and macro images.  This coupled with a basic understanding of Photoshop editing has given me a huge appetite for furthering my photography experience.  I found John to be a patient, relaxed and thorough teacher, the environment was awesome and very relaxing.  The classes are small enough to ensure we all got our individual help.  The lunches were delicious.  Thanks a million John. I LOVED it.
